Watch and learn every step of the installation.

  • 1

    Positioning of the Nox® Portal

    • Before opening the Nox® Mega Bag, assemble the Nox® Portal (refer to the Nox® Portal assembly manual).

    • Place it on a flat surface by rolling it out.

    • The surface must be sheltered, clean, and free of bumps. Clear and sweep the surface if necessary.

    • Extend the rails at the front of the Nox® Portal.
  • 2

    Unfolding the Nox® Mega Bag

    • Unpack the Nox® Mega Bag and unfold it so that it covers the entire interior surface of the Nox® Portal.

    • Be sure to place the Nox® Mega Bag in the correct direction: strings facing up and opening facing the front of the Nox® Portal.
  • 3

    Attaching the Nox® Mega Bag

    • Attach the cords at the 4 bottom corners of the Nox® Mega Bag to the 4 legs of the Nox® Portal.

    • Pass the 2 blue side cords through the rings along the entire length of the Mega Bag.

    • Attach the white cords at the 4 top corners of the Nox® Mega Bag to the 4 legs of the Nox® Portal.

    • Finally, attach the white cords from the entrance sleeve to the extendable rails of the Nox® Portal.

    • Lift the Nox® Mega Bag and thread the blue cords through the suspension hooks located along the entire length of the Nox® Portico (this step requires 2 operators).
  • 4

    Floor protection covering

    • Remove the protective elements from the valves on both sides of the Nox® Mega Bag.

    • Step inside the Nox® Mega Bag, finish positioning the liner correctly on the floor, and smooth out any creases.

    • Protect the ground with the protective covering.

    • Ensure that there are no folds or obstacles hindering the passage of the wheels of the loading machine.
  • 5

    Loading pallets

    • Place the protective corners on the ground at the two corners of the bottom of the Nox® Mega Bag.

    • Detach the two white cords from the lower rear corners.

    • Place the first two pallets inside the Nox® Mega Bag (this step requires two operators: a driver and a guide).

    • Move forward very slowly, taking care not to snag the liner with the wood of the pallet or the loading equipment.

    • Place the remaining pallets inside the Nox® Mega Bag.

    • Detach the two white cords from the front bottom corners.

Caution, if the pallets loaded into the Nox® Mega Bag exceed the width of the Nox® Portico's feet, you will no longer be able to move it.

  • 6

    CO₂ injection

    • Equip yourself with personal protection equipment: CO₂ alarm, goggles, and gloves.

    • Insert the dry ice boxes into the Nox® Mega Bag, as close to the center as possible.

    • Cover them to prevent condensation from forming due to localized cold.

    • If applicable, place the Nox® Control System sensor in the Nox® Mega Bag, as close to the center as possible.
  • 7

Heat sealing of the Nox® Mega Bag

    • Heat seal the Nox® Mega Bag opening using the heat sealer (this step requires 2 operators).

    • Detach the 6 upper white cords.

    • Remove any remaining air from the Nox® Mega Bag using the suction valves on its surface.

    • Remove the Nox® Portal and fold down the extendable rails.
  • 8

    Analysis of internal gas levels

    • Regularly analyze the gas concentration inside the Nox® Mega Bag.

    • If necessary, add more CO₂ using the injection valves located on its surface.
