How to use the Nox® Big Bags

Inflation & Filling
- The product to be packaged must first be dried, cooled, and pre-cleaned in accordance with current commercial standards.
- Fully inflate the Nox® Big Bag to remove any creases (using a hand blower or a hopper with an air supply).
- Attach the Nox® Big Bag to the hopper without piercing the inner envelope. Center it and keep the bottom off the ground.
- Pour the product slowly at first, then increase the flow once the inner envelope has stabilized.

Heat sealing & Aspiration
- Fold the inner envelope into four sheets. Remove any creases and dust off the plastic.
- Adjust the heat setting on the heat sealer. Squeeze the clamp for 5 seconds, allow it to cool for 5 seconds, then release.
- Visually check the continuity and tightness of the heat seal.
- Suck air through the valve until the Nox® Big Bag is compact and uniform (30 seconds to 1 minute).

CO₂ injection & Analysis
- Equip yourself with PPE: CO₂ detector, gloves, and protective eyewear.
- Connect the injection system, open the pressure regulator to 1 bar, and inflate the Nox® Big Bag completely without overpressurizing.
- Wait at least 12 hours, then check the CO₂ level. Maintain a level > 40% for 21 days to ensure complete insect elimination.

Emptying
- Cut the inlet chute of the inner envelope cleanly, then tie the two envelopes together.
- Lift the Nox® Big Bag by the 4 lifting points and place it on the emptying grid.
- At the outlet chute, untie the envelopes and cut the inner envelope horizontally and cleanly.
- Empty the contents, making sure that the envelopes do not slide against each other.

Reuse
- Place the Nox® Big Bag flat on a clean surface and cut the spouts if necessary.
- Remove, clean, and blow the inner casing (vertical or horizontal blower).
- Heat seal the outlet chute of the inner envelope, then reinsert it into the outer envelope, aligning the 8 corners.
- Tie, roll up, and store the Nox® Big Bag in a dry place away from sunlight.
